Started, Finished and Framed

This cross stitch project is from a kit by Lanarte  (it's 'Squirrel' by designer Marjolein Bastin). The kit was a present from my friend Carolien, who bought it a while ago in a craft shop in Barneveld. I stitched this project up in a little over a week, and framed it in a frame that I bought at HEMA. I love cross stitching and squirrels, so I intend to stitch some more squirrels later this year. But first I'll work on some other projects, I'll show pictures of that soon.

Finished and Framed

Last week I finished this cross stitch project, and today I framed it (in a frame that I bought at HEMA). I love this design, it somehow reminds me of my favourite children's books by Astrid Lindgren ('Bolderburen' and 'Samen op het eiland Zeekraai').
