Yesterday my friend Carolien and I visited the Weversmarkt in Hoorn and I bought a lot of nice things. While I was collecting the coins to buy the two largest books (they were really cheap second hand books :-)), the stall holder who sold the books to me put them in the bag that you see in the third photo. She told me that she had made the bag herself, specifically for the Weversmarkt, and that the bag was free, it was a gift. I was so amazed! It's a really nice bag, and it's fully lined at the inside. It even has an extra pocket inside, with a zip. It makes me very happy every time I look at it and I so appreciate this gift. I think that I will use it as a project bag (as you can see I've definitely bought enough materials to start a new project or two :-)

Lately my youngest daughter and I have been watching a lot of Doctor Who on Netflix. We both enjoy it a lot, so I wanted to see if I could find any Doctor Who cross stitch patterns. Actually there appear to be lots of them. This is one of the patterns that I liked best, so I decided to start by cross stitching this one. It's by the Fig Tree Studio and I bought the pattern from her Etsy shop.

Yesterday Jessica and I visited the Bas Kosters 'I want it to be soft' exhibition at the Museum Arnhem (and of course we also made new 'good people' to add to the collection).
