I had intended for this All Shawl (designed by Doris Chan) to be my summer vacation crochet project, but then I thought I ought to first briefly check if I really would enjoy this project. So I started it yesterday, a couple of days before we’ll actually leave on vacation, and I intended to just do a little bit of work on it to see if I liked it. But now I can’t stop! I’m enjoying it so much! I love the pattern, the result looks great I think, and I love the Noro colors (I'm using Noro Kureyon Sock yarn, colorway S253).

Nog meer af/ Finished
This is what I finished:
- another market bag (you see it here filled with the skeins that I will be using for my holiday knitting project (= a very yellow sweater))
- a pair of Peppy socks for myself (I personally think they look great with my jeans)
And in progress:
- a pair of Lizard Socks designed by Beate Zäch.

Presents
Yesterday, my eldest daughter and myself went to Haarlem where I bought some nice birthday presents for my younger sister. We also saw that Laurens Janszoon Coster, on the Grote Markt, was carrying a Dutch flag, and we expect that a Dutch soccer fan must have had something to do with that...
Today I finished another (crocheted) birthday present for my sister.

Here you see some of my recently finished projects:
- Another crocheted carry-all tote, this one was done in orange and pink cotton
- A pair of knitted baby socks for my colleague M. who is now on maternity leave
- As a goodbye present for my colleague Joy, I decided to give her a key ring with all kinds of good luck charms. I bought the Brasilian key ring, the wooden good luck elephant, and the South American good luck doll doll at the Fair Trade Shop (Wereldwinkel) in Hoofddorp. To finish it off, I crocheted the good luck four-leaf clover based on a pattern for a three-leaf clover that I found in the ‘100 bloemen om te haken en te breien’ boek and added that to the key ring too.
