Materials:
- Katia ‘Samba’, 50 g. of colour A, 50 g. of colour B (of course you may prefer to use only one colour)
- Crochet hook (size 3 of 3.5 mm)
- Start with colour A. Chain 3.
- Row 1: Chain 1, 1 single crochet into second chain from hook, 1 single crochet into each of next two chains.
- Row 2: Turn. Chain 1, 1 single crochet into first stitch, 1 single crochet into each of next two stitches.
- Row 3: Turn. Chain 40, 1 single crochet into first stitch (closing loop), 1 single crochet into each of next two stitches.
- Row 4: Repeat row 3.
- Repeat rows 1 through 4 until you’ve made 19 loops on each side (= about 37 cm in colour A).
- Continue in colour B. Continue repeating rows 1 through 4 until you have about finished up the entire skein (= about 59 loops on each side, about 120 cm in colour B.)
- Now continue with colour A. Continue repeating rows 1 through 4 until you‘ve made 19 loops on each side(= about 37 cm in colour A).
- Repeat rows 1 and 2. Finished!
Total length of the scarf is about 195 cm.
Of course you may prefer to make the body of the scarf wider, or smaller. Also you may decide to make longer or shorter loops, or to use a different type of yarn. Have fun!
