Another thing that made me happy was visiting the Plant and Flower Market at the Janskerkhof in Utrecht, yesterday. The Plant and Flower Market is held there every Saturday, and I used to visit it almost every week when I lived nearby, at least 20 years ago. Luckily some things never change, and there are still always flowers at the Anne Frank statue, near the front of the Janskerk.
My mother, my middle sister and myself also visited the Janskerk to hear - among other things - an excellent performance of Mozart's Requiem by the Bach Orchestra and Choir of the Netherlands, so we had a great Saturday.
